Deputy Chief Becky Ribelin is in charge of the EMS Program for our department. We are a fully licensed ALS (advanced life support) transport agency (trauma verified with the Washington State Department of Health) with approximately 2,400 transports per year. Our career personnel use two full time ALS ambulances, staffed with paramedics and EMTs, and have two back-up ambulances available at all times.

Our ambulances are equipped with state of the art equipment and our personnel are trained on the most current advanced life support procedures.

Citizens within the District should be reassured that the Cowlitz 2 Fire & Rescue personnel responding when they call 911, are some of the most experienced and well trained pre-hospital providers in this area.

The delivery of EMS services represents approximately 80% of the response activities within the Fire District.
