Stations & Service Area

Cowlitz 2 Fire and Rescue serves approximately 34,000 citizens who live in the City of Kelso and portions of Cowlitz County providing emergency medial services and fire protection.  Our 170 square mile response area includes urban and rural areas, light and heavy industrial areas, Interstate 5, railroad mainlines, a regional airport and several waterways.  We has 5 active fire stations (Station 26-Bunker Hill has closed), 2 of which are staffed full time by EMT and Paramedic firefighters.  Volunteer firefighter EMTs also respond on an on-call basis.
