Lateral Employment Opportunities
We are not currently accepting lateral level applications.
We use an eligibility list process to fill openings. The testing period is advertised in local media, social media, our website, and various other platforms. After testing, qualifying applicants are contacted with a request for an application. Top scoring applicants are selected for interviews. Applicants are then ranked and placed on the eligibility list.
The list is approved by the Chief and good for one year. The Chief may extend the list for up to one additional year. Openings are filled from both the entry level list and the lateral entry list.
